Outsourced Services & Professional Responsibility Policy

Relating To You – Workplace Wellbeing is committed to providing high-quality, ethical, and professional wellbeing services to organisations. This policy outlines how services may be delivered by independent practitioners and clarifies professional responsibility and liability.

1. Scope of Services

Relating To You – Workplace Wellbeing provides a range of services including, but not limited to:

Workplace counselling (individual and group)

Wellbeing workshops and training
-
Reflective practice and supervision
-
Mental health and wellbeing consultancy
Services may be delivered directly by Relating To You or by self-employed, independent practitioners who are engaged on a subcontracted basis.

2. Use of Independent Practitioners
​
Where appropriate, Relating To You may outsource elements of service delivery to suitably qualified, self-employed counsellors, supervisors, trainers, or facilitators.
All independent practitioners engaged by Relating To You are required to:

Hold appropriate professional qualifications and experience

Be registered or accredited with a relevant professional body where applicable

Work within their professional scope of practice and ethical framework

Hold valid professional indemnity and public liability insurance
3. Professional Responsibility

Independent practitioners delivering services through Relating To You do so in their capacity as independent contractors.
Each practitioner is solely responsible for:

Their professional conduct and clinical judgement
-
The content and delivery of the services they provide
-
Adherence to their professional body’s ethical standards
-
Maintaining appropriate insurance and professional registrations
Relating To You does not assume responsibility for the professional decisions or actions of independent practitioners, except where required by law.

4. Limitation of Liability
​
Relating To You – Workplace Wellbeing shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from services delivered by independent, self-employed practitioners, including (but not limited to) counselling, group work, training, or supervision.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted by law.

5. No Employment or Agency Relationship
​
The engagement of independent practitioners does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between:

Relating To You and the practitioner, or
-
The practitioner and any client organisation or service participant
6. Nature of Wellbeing & Counselling Services
​
Services provided by Relating To You and its independent practitioners are intended to support wellbeing and professional development. They are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, legal, or other professional advice.
Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, and wellbeing.

7. Policy Review
​
This policy is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains accurate, appropriate, and aligned with professional and legal standards.

8. Governing Law
​
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
